About Ana Canelas

Student
United Kingdom

Hi, my name is Ana Teresa Canelas and I'm a first-year Architecture student.

Increasingly, society demonstrates a concern to preserve the environment and to seek more sustainable ideas and solutions.

One of the problems we face every day is global warming. One of the solutions to reduce global warming is the use of green and renewable energies, thus avoiding the generation of energy in thermoelectric plants that use fossil fuels.

My idea, then, is based on energy through human movement. In order to produce energy, a small movement is enough, so why not use plates, which can be placed as coatings or flooring, which generate energy through movement, contributing not only to the environment but also to a more economical and sustainable architecture and construction.

Thank you.
